Last night I had one of those crazy nights, where you are dreaming, and then suddenly you wake with a start and realise that something actually IS moving around downstairs.....and it sounds like a cat. Or two. Except I don't HAVE a cat.....next thing I knew, siad cats that I do not have ( though I DO have a cat flap) were up the stairs, and jumping on my bed. And I actually kind of relaxed a little....cos...hey!...cats?......until one of the cats spoke to me.....
Ok...at this point I might have realised this was a dream?I didn't! I thought, REALLY thought, I was awake.
Last week, the night before I travelled up north, I was asleep in bed and 'woke up' to a man climbing into my bed....I reacted and .....then woke up.....later in the night, I woke up and remembered the dream......and the realised there WAS a man in my bed....who had crept in after I slept. Only B. And its ok he was there, but...
My point? I am having trouble here with what is real and what is dreaming!

Isn't it the absolute oddest feeling to be so utterly convinced that you are wide awake, and yet somewhere deep inside, you know that you are still sleeping and dreaming? I've had that happen to me a couple of times, and I find it quite off-putting. Still - glad it was B and not phantom cats!
ReplyDeleteOh good, you are back. Dreams like that are weird aren't they, I have had a few that seemed so real they gave me nasty turns and I was quite glad to wake up.
ReplyDeleteLenin had a dream recently in which I refused to let her keep a pony; she woke up really cross with me because (she said) she was going to win prizes with that pony. So she texted me to complain!
I agree on the decluttering too. It was horrible going through my husband's stuff - in fact I haven't finished because I can't bring myself to do any more. But I have also found myself thinking that I didn't want the girls to have to go through tons of my junk so I am reducing it all gradually.
Good to see you back! Clare x
